Blackbutterfly Handcrafted Cards started out in early 2007 as a time consuming hobby, with results that appeared to be appreciated by friends & family alike.

As requests for my cards grew, and my interest in various forms of the craft increased, I began to see that I had to find a larger customer base than I had at that time.

So late in 2007 my first website was set up, and Blackbutterfly2007.co.uk was finally launched onto an unsuspecting world.

Our base is Southend-on-Sea, in Essex, and from our windows we can see the Esplanade…………and feel the cold winds too, in the winter!

This year, (2010) we launch our new look website, and I hope that old friends (and new) find it as interesting and exciting as we do.

All our cards are handcrafted using the best cardstock, papers and embellishments we can find.

Our online shop sells a 'ready made' range and usually only one of each design is made, if there should be more, then this will be clearly indicated. This range can be personalised on request in most cases.

 Bespoke designs can be created to specific requirements, just tell us what you need, we will do our very best to accommodate you.
